Celebrating Indigenous Culture Through Food

Stories have always been shared over a meal, across the kitchen table, at the campfire, at the restaurant bar - it’s one of the many reasons we love food.

On March 22 we will welcome Chef Zach Green (pictured) and Elijah’s Kitchen to A Touch of Salt to deliver a unique event for us, Celebrating Indigenous Culture Through Food.

Not only will guests enjoy dining out on Australia's native cuisine, but Zach will tell the stories behind each indigenous dish - how the food is imagined, how it is gathered or caught, how it’s prepared and eventually shared.

The night will begin with a traditional smoking ceremony, followed by snacks, 4-course menu with paired wines, then some petit fours.
